FablePilot
Text writing
Turn one idea into an editable book plan, generate the manuscript chapter by chapter, create a cover, and export a Kindle-ready EPUB and DOCX.

What is FablePilot
What is FablePilot?
FablePilot is an AI book studio aimed at first-time authors. Rather than rushing from a single prompt straight to a manuscript, it walks through a staged process: you describe your idea, it drafts an editable book plan, and it writes the manuscript chapter by chapter — but only after you review and approve each stage.
Core strengths
- Approval-first workflow: Four drafts land on your desk and you sign off on each — an idea/note stage, an editable outline (title, cast, setting, chapter goals), chapter-by-chapter prose, and finally the finished edition. Nothing moves forward until you approve it.
- You control the plan: Change characters, chapter beats, point of view, tense and target length before any prose is generated. The plan is fully editable.
- Flexible length: Choose from short story (~1,200 words), extended story (~3,000), novelette (~5,000) or long novelette (~7,500 words).
- 35+ output languages: Write the plan and every chapter in a chosen language, including Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Indonesian, Persian, Japanese, Chinese and many more. The language is also set in the EPUB and DOCX export.
- Genre and tone controls: Pick genres (Fantasy, Mystery, Romance, Sci-Fi, Adventure), tones (Warm, Suspenseful, Funny, Dark, Hopeful) and audiences (General, Kids, Teens, Adults), or leave them on Auto.
- Complete Kindle upload kit: Download manuscript.epub, an editable manuscript.docx, cover.jpg, metadata.txt, a preflight report and a step-by-step KDP upload checklist in one package.
- AI cover generation: Generate cover artwork for your title.
- Sample library: Browse eight finished sample books (each started from a single sentence) and read any first chapter free.
FablePilot is a writing aid — it prepares files but does not guarantee acceptance by Amazon KDP; the site advises opening the EPUB in Kindle Previewer and resolving warnings before publishing.
How to use FablePilot
How to use FablePilot
- Describe your idea: Write a sentence (or more, up to 1,500 characters) about your characters, conflict or world.
- Set length, language, genre, tone and audience — or leave genre/tone on Auto.
- Draft and approve the plan: Review the title, cast, setting and chapter goals; change anything you like. The blueprint costs 10 credits. Nothing is written until you approve it.
- Write chapter by chapter: Read and edit Chapter 1 first; the rest follows with the story kept consistent.
- Design a cover and then download your EPUB, DOCX, metadata, preflight report and upload checklist.
- Validate before publishing: Open the EPUB in Amazon Kindle Previewer and resolve any warnings before uploading to KDP. Note that Google sign-in is required, and manual writing, editing, saving and reordering cost no credits.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can FablePilot generate a complete book from one idea?
Yes. It first creates an editable blueprint, then generates the manuscript chapter by chapter after you approve the direction. You can revise the plan and edit the prose throughout the process.
How many pages is a 5,000-word book?
For plan comparisons, FablePilot estimates about 250 words per manuscript page, so 5,000 words is roughly 20 draft pages. Kindle eBooks are reflowable, so the visible page count changes with device, font, and reader settings.
Can I write a book in a language other than English?
Yes. Choose the book's language when you create the plan. FablePilot writes the plan and every chapter in that language, with more than 35 languages to choose from, including Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Indonesian, Persian, Japanese, and Chinese. The language is also set in the EPUB and DOCX export.
Is the export guaranteed to be accepted by Amazon KDP?
No service should promise automatic acceptance. FablePilot prepares an EPUB, editable DOCX, cover, metadata, preflight report, and upload checklist. Always open the EPUB in Amazon Kindle Previewer and resolve any warnings before publishing.
Can I edit the book myself without spending credits?
Yes. Manual writing, editing, saving, and reordering cost zero credits. Credits are used for successful AI work such as the blueprint, generated prose, rewrites, and cover artwork.
How many credits does a 5,000-word book use?
A blueprint plus 5,000 generated words uses about 110 credits. Add one AI-generated cover and the estimate becomes 140 credits, before optional rewrites.
What are Book credits?
Book credits pay for AI work inside Book Workspace. A blueprint costs 10 credits, generated prose and rewrites cost 1 credit per started 50 words, and a successful AI cover costs 30 credits.
Do editing, failed attempts, or exports use credits?
Manual editing, reorganizing, saving, and failed AI attempts cost 0 credits. Kindle upload kit downloads do not spend credits, but download access requires an active subscription or a Credit Pack purchase.
How is the AI Text Humanizer priced?
The AI Text Humanizer rewrites your own text so it reads more naturally. It costs 1 credit per started 100 words, up to 5,000 words per run. Turning on Natural Voice while generating a Story, Plot, or Book (including With Pictures and Image to Story) costs 1 credit per started 200 words. Both are available with any subscription or Credit Pack, and a failed run costs 0 credits. It is a writing aid and does not promise to pass AI detectors.
Are the page estimates the same as Kindle pages?
No. We estimate one manuscript page at 250 generated words so plans are easier to compare. Kindle eBooks are reflowable, so the visible page count changes with the reader's device and font settings. Validate the exported EPUB in Kindle Previewer before publishing.
Can I purchase a plan today?
Checkout is securely hosted by PayPal, which processes payment details, transaction receipts, and recurring subscription charges.
